Melissa Norwood

Melissa Norwood is a certified Krav Maga instructor, and she has over 15 years of experience in various martial arts, including a 2nd Degree Black Belt in an American freestyle fighting system and a red sash in kung fu. She has also trained in tai chi chuan, wing chun and aikido. Melissa formerly worked with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital as a Research Technologist, and she is now a licensed school teacher with the Shelby County Schools. She has a master of arts in instruction and curriculum design and a bachelor’s degree in biology and mathematics.
